Battery sheets: the packs that go in a truck, and the batteries that help charge one

The battery is the most expensive part of an electric truck, and often the cheapest way to charge one. Two kinds are on this page. In the truck: the traction packs battery makers sell to truck makers, the ones a truck's range and half its price come from. For charging: the batteries that stand at a depot or a charging site, buffer a slow grid connection and let a truck charge faster than the cable behind the wall allows. Every sheet holds the same rows — capacity, chemistry, voltage, charging power and time, cycles and life, mass and size, cooling and safety, hall and stand in Hanover, price and availability in Europe — pre-filled where something has been published, with the source next to it, and open for anyone to correct or complete.

Where the list comes from. Collected on 19 September 2026 from the battery makers' own IAA pages and press releases and from the trade press, for products shown, presented or announced at IAA Transportation 2026 in Hanover or reported in its newsroom. Only the battery itself is here: a truck with a battery in it is a truck sheet, a charger with a battery inside it a charger sheet. Where a hall and stand was published it is on the sheet; where it was not, the row is empty and waits for someone who walked past it. Prices are missing almost everywhere: hardly any maker publishes one, and a fleet that has a quote can put the figure here.

Why it matters for the cost. A pack's price per kWh, how many cycles it lasts and how much it weighs decide what a truck costs to own; a battery at the depot decides whether the site needs a heavier grid connection, which is often the largest single bill in the business case. Both are on these sheets with their source next to them.

How the sheets work. Open a battery, type into any field, press Save and confirm the link that lands in your mailbox: the value is then on the page for everyone, and every sheet lists its history of confirmed changes. Your name and remarks go in that history; your e-mail address never does. If you were on the stand, or run one of these in a depot, say so in the sheet.
